The high pressure insulated air duct is made of a reinforced aluminized trilaminate spirally wound and mechanically locked together by a corrosive-resistant galvanized steel helix. The core is covered with thick fiberglass insulation and sleeved by a flame-retardant, scrim foil mylar sleeve. The reinforced metallized vapor barrier improves puncture resistance and overall duct strength. This high pressure ULC-S110 and UL 181 class 1 product is excellent for most HVAC systems.
